If you’re planning a Vegas getaway, this Bellagio review 2025 will give you an honest look at what it’s really like to stay at the iconic resort. From the moment you walk into the grand lobby with its famous Chihuly glass ceiling to watching the fountains dance at night, the Bellagio delivers that classic Las Vegas experience. In this post, I’m sharing my perspective on the rooms, spa, pool, and overall vibe so you can decide if it’s worth booking for your next trip.
Check-In & First Impressions
When you arrive at the Bellagio, one of the coolest conveniences is that you can use the MGM Rewards app to do a self check-in. You can check in up to two days early and request early check-in, which I thought was a nice touch.
Since we booked with our Amex Platinum, we stopped by the front desk to ask about upgrades. Lucky for us, there were! We were upgraded to Level 23 – the “Stay Well Premier” level. Levels 23 and 24 are considered wellness levels, meaning the rooms include features like air purification to reduce pollen, allergens, and mold spores, vitamin C shower infusers to reduce chlorine in the water, circadian lighting to help with sleep, and other wellness touches.
That first impression was impeccable. The fountain view from the 23rd floor was unforgettable. Originally, we booked a king fountain-view room, but with the upgrade they only had a double-queen available, which was perfect since we don’t really love king beds. (They’re too big and wide for us, haha! We love a cozy cuddle sesh.)
Pulling up to the Bellagio is an experience in itself – it’s stunning, all around. One of my favorite details inside was the fall display in the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. The hotel is currently showcasing “Autumn Majesty: A Glamorous Harvest”, a seasonal artful display of golden autumn hues, pumpkins, glowing foliage, and so many textures and colors that signal fall in the most magical way.

Rooms at the Bellagio
After settling in, the room itself felt like a comfortable home base for our three-night stay. The beds (and pillows) were plush and comfortable, and I slept better than I expected for being in the middle of the Strip. The wellness-level features, like the air purifier and vitamin C shower infuser, were subtle but made the space feel clean and refreshed after long days out.
Design-wise, the room had that classic Bellagio elegance with modern touches. The bathroom was spacious, with a large vanity and plenty of counter space (always a win when you’re traveling as a couple). The shower pressure was great, and the lighting made it easy to get ready without feeling like you were in a dim hotel bathroom.
What I loved most was how quiet it felt up on the 23rd floor. Even though you’re right in the heart of Vegas, the room felt peaceful once you closed the door. And of course, having the fountains right outside the window added a bit of magic every time we peeked out.
Spa Experience
For this Bellagio Review 2025, I knew I had to book a spa day – it was one of two things I truly wanted out of my Vegas weekend (okay, three if you count going to the Canelo fight – but that one was a given). And lemme’ tell you, the Bellagio spa did not disappoint.
The morning started with me and the girls checking in for our 50-minute custom massage with Mila. Before the treatment, we were given a full tour of the spa: serene locker rooms stocked with every amenity you could think of, a eucalyptus-infused steam room, a dry sauna, three whirlpools, and even a cold plunge for the brave. Guests also have access to a relaxation lounge where they can sip herbal tea, fruit-infused water, or light snacks before or after treatments.
When it was time for my massage, Mila worked pure magic. She went straight to the knots in my shoulders and upper back, the ones I was well aware of, and managed to ease so much of the tension. I walked out of that treatment room feeling lighter, looser, and so grateful I’d booked it.
Afterwards, we changed into swimsuits to enjoy the whirlpools, sauna, and a round of the cold plunge before heading to the pool. Spa guests actually have access to the facilities until 6 p.m., which is amazing if you want to spend the whole day unwinding indoors. For us, it was the perfect balance – starting the morning in total serenity and then carrying that relaxed energy with us out to the pool.
If you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Mila – you won’t regret it.
Poolside Vibes
From the balcony at the spa, I remember looking down at the pool area and thinking how much it felt like a slice of Tuscany – surrounded by elegant architecture, manicured landscaping, and that classic Bellagio charm. After indulging in the spa amenities, the girls and I were ready to soak up the sunshine and head down there ourselves.
Even though the pool was busy, we scored chairs with an umbrella (a total win in Vegas), and set up camp near one of the bars. It made grabbing drinks and food super convenient, which only added to the easygoing vibe of the afternoon.
What I loved most was the balance: the pool had energy without being over the top. It wasn’t rowdy or chaotic, just a fun, laid-back scene where we could sip, lounge, and people-watch under the shade. For me, it was the perfect continuation of our spa day!

Dining Options at the Bellagio
Even though I didn’t personally dine at the resort during my stay, no Bellagio Review 2025 would feel complete without mentioning the wide variety of restaurants available. The Bellagio is known for having some of the best dining on the Strip, with options ranging from fine dining to casual bites.
If you’re looking for upscale experiences, there’s Prime Steakhouse, Lago by Julian Serrano, and Le Cirque – all highly rated and known for their fountain-view dining rooms. For something more relaxed, guests often head to Sadelle’s Café for brunch or Bellagio Patisserie.
One tip that applies not just to the Bellagio but to Las Vegas in general: make reservations well in advance. The top-rated spots, especially those with fountain views, tend to book up quickly.
Overall Vibe & Atmosphere
When I think back on my stay, what stands out most is the Bellagio’s ability to deliver that classic Las Vegas feel while still giving you moments of peace. From the grand lobby ceiling to the Conservatory’s seasonal displays, every detail feels intentional and artful. The energy of the fountains, the elevated interiors, and the way the resort balances high-energy casino life with tranquil spaces like the spa and pool – it’s a mix that defines the Bellagio experience.
For this Bellagio Review 2025, I’d describe the overall vibe as timeless and sophisticated without being stuffy. It’s lively enough to remind you you’re in the heart of Vegas, but refined enough to feel like a special retreat. Whether you’re there for a weekend getaway, a celebration, or just to see what the hype is about, the Bellagio still earns its place as one of the most signature hotels on the Strip.

Final Thoughts
To wrap up my Bellagio Review 2025, I’d say the resort still lives up to its reputation as a Las Vegas classic. My weekend, split between a spa day, lounging by the pool, and enjoying the upgraded room, was exactly what I hoped for in a short getaway.
What stood out most is how the Bellagio has managed to stay elevated over the years. While some Vegas resorts have lost their spark, this property continues to feel nice and current without losing its charm.
If you’re looking for the quintessential Strip stay, the Bellagio is a solid choice. For me, the spa was the highlight, but the overall atmosphere made the trip memorable. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants that signature Vegas experience in 2025.
