Cotton Candy Deep V Cut Dress

Pink Deep V Cut Mini Dress

Today, on the blog, I am sharing the cotton candy deep v cut dress I wore this past weekend during our Napa Valley trip. In case you missed Instagram stories, I was in Napa, CA for my little sister’s bachelorette trip celebration. I cannot believe her wedding is next month! (Also – crying because my little sis is getting married!!!)

If there is one thing that caught me off guard about our trip was how hot it was in California. Like woah – I didn’t expect the heat wave we experienced. I didn’t know about the heat wave until the night before but what can ya’ do? Right?!? I mean, the trip was happening either way. Anyway, I was very grateful for selecting dresses that were appropriate for the hellish heat.

I purchased this cotton candy deep v cut dress just a couple of weeks before the trip. I knew I wanted something feminine, aka baby pink, and something different compared to those dresses hanging in the closet. This particular dress was perfect for the occasion because again the heat was a little unbearable and I felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. The material was extremely lightweight, refreshing, and breathable. There is only one thing to complain about – I had to continually adjust one side of the dress. I will probably demonstrate this through stories since I think it will be the best way to explain this constant adjustment. I am not sure if this was due to the way the dress was made, or if it was because of my body type. Unfortunately, there are no reviews on the retailer’s website to compare with other people’s experience soooo yeah.

Anyway, the uniqueness of this dress made it worthwhile. Like I said, I truly loved the quality, design, and color. I would definitely wear it again. Speaking of design, did you see the back? It’s so freakin’ cute! The ruffles on the sides are a nice touch as well. If cotton candy isn’t your color, it also comes in porcelain blue. I know the colors aren’t so appropriate for fall, however, I don’t see why this dress would be considered out of style next spring/summer.

For reference, I purchased the small.
