Happy, happy Friday! Thank you Jesus for another weekend! I am so looking forward to a chill weekend in Houston. We have some organization and Christmas shopping to do but should lay low for the most part.
Let’s talk #basics. There is no greater feeling than knowing exactly what to wear on the days you feel less inspired to be creative. With very little effort, you still manage to assemble a classy look, thanks to your go-to staples. A few weeks ago, I came across a brand I hadn’t tried on before. After a few minutes of browsing their section, I realized it was the perfect brand for wardrobe staples. Let’s dive a little deeper into these finds!
I had so much fun shooting this jumpsuit. I think it screams, “Hey hubs, take me on a vacation!!!” I am counting down the days until we hit the beach this summer ’cause your girl is itching to lay by the beach as the waves crash the shore. Until then, I’ll keep daydreaming about it.
I don’t know how the content for this blog post was deleted. I am shook and I JUST found out as I am writing the top five blog posts in April. I am debating if I should add new content or just keep it as is.
It has been a week since I drove up to Dallas to visit the Texas-Tulips fields with my sisters and baby niece. It was a girls day filled fun and much needed homemade ice cream from my college town, Denton, TX.
Here are my top picks of adorable and irresistible earrings for spring – all perfect for your upcoming vacation! Not going on vacation? That’s perfectly fine, you can rock these with your everyday style too. Let’s dive a little deeper into each set…
I am so proud of Jose and I, we’ve actually stuck to our 2019 promise and have stayed in Houston most of our weekends. We spend them by going to the gym, working from our laptops, hanging out with friends, hosting our families and exploring what the city has to offer. First of all, I am in disbelief at how much the price for this blouse has dropped! It wasn’t long ago that I purchased it. I love the color so much – I ain’t even mad about paying regular price. I am thinking of all the ways of styling it this spring season. St. Patrick’s Day is coming up so it may be my green for that day.
The quality of the fabric is pleasant and the fit is just right. The retro spread collar is my favorite part about the blouse! I wore it to church last week and styled it with a black skirt but I can see myself wearing it with my favorite pair of jeans. Click here to peep more.
Hope you have an amazing Friday! Cheers to the weekend, xo.
If there is one thing I am guilty of is owning a lot of black clothing. My collection will most likely decrease after I tidy up the apartment next month. The question is, what is it about the color black that attracts a lot of people? My best guess is because it speaks elegance and classiness. To me, it is always a safe choice. I have a little saying and it goes like this, “When in doubt, listen to Drake, wear black, and eat Chick-fil-A”. In other words, if I ever have a hard time deciding what to listen to, what to wear, or what to eat, I’ll go with the above safe choices.
Today, on the blog, I am diving a little deep into one of my safe choices – the combination of black + white clothing.
It’s here! It’s finally here! The festivities have officially kicked off beginning with the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que contest, and us Houstonians, are ready for it! Although we aren’t going to the cookoff this year, we do plan on going to the first concert.
I am OVER THE MOON excited to share the outfit I plan to wear! It’s from a favorite boutique of mine located in my hometown – and guess what?!? They finally have a website – woot, woot! This is amazing news, especially for my girls outside of the Bryan/College Station (b/cs) area! Continue reading “It’s #RodeoHouston Season!”
