Happy, happy hump day, my lovelies! I hope you’re off to a great start today. Today, on the blog, I am sharing my morning protein smoothie recipe. This is a personal favorite for the mornings I don’t cook breakfast; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
It’s quite simple to make!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 cup (or a handful) of baby spinach
- 1 small banana (6 in)
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
- 1 scoop of collagen peptides
- 2 scoops of protein powder
- Cinnamon powder, to taste
- 1 3/4 cups of water
In a blender, add ingredients in the following order: ice, spinach, banana, almond butter, chia seeds, blueberries, collagen, protein powder, and cinnamon. Once everything is blended until smooth, sprinkle cinnamon on top, and voila! Super easy and filling. 😉

Should you decide to try my protein smoothie recipe, please let me know your thoughts! I know there’s a lot of people stuck on how to make a healthy protein smoothie, however, if you focus on adding a protein, a healthy fat, and greens, you should be good. (Of course, do your research and make an informed decision.) Personally, a banana makes it that much smoother and a must-ingredient in all of my smoothies.
