The Books I’ve Read This Year

If you’re searching for your next personal development book to read, here’s a list of the books I’ve finished reading this year:

Book Recommendations:
  1. Super Attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein – My best friend, Meagy, purchased this book for me last year. I didn’t begin reading it until December last year and finished it early January! I think this is a great intro to The Law of Attraction. If you have yet to read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, I think Gabby does a great job of explaining how she utilizes the Law of Attraction and how the reader can use it as well.
  2. Rising Strong by Brene Brown – Thanks to another sweet friend who gifted this book to me. This book made me look inside myself and question a lot of my actions. (I share a little bit about vulnerability on this blog post.) After watching Brene’s Netflix special, I was automatically drawn to her. She just comes across as authentic and genuine. She has a southern charm (and accent) that makes me laugh and smile! She is so funny to me too. Anyway, I recommend this book to those who struggle with vulnerability and rumbling with tough emotions. I know I’ve improved because of this book.
  3. Third Circle Theory by Pejman Ghadimi – I started reading this book as soon as Jose was done with it. (I believe either Andy Frisella and/or Ed Mylett speak highly of this book and that’s why he read it.) Anyway, I loved reading about this theory. It’s about opening your eyes to the different levels/categories society lives in. It’s about realizing where you stand today doesn’t define where you can stand tomorrow, or one, two, five, ten years from now. Highly recommend to those ambitious souls!

My next book (Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh) is sitting on my night stand. I plan on picking it up today and starting the first chapter. I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts.

That’s all for tonight! I hope you have a wonderful evening. If you decide to read any of these books, I would love to hear your thoughts.
