A New Year Message for 2026: A Fresh Start with Mrs Profresh

Happy New Year, 2026! I’m kicking off the year with my 2026 New Year message, sharing reflections from 2025, a few personal updates, and what you can expect on the blog this year.

Reflecting on 2025

I would have never predicted the biggest life change that occurred in 2025. ICYMI: I quit the corporate lyfe. And it was so freeing. Now – don’t get me wrong – quitting corporate America was always the goal. I mean, ever since I started my career in a real corporate setting in the oil and gas industry, I knew I had to start planning my exit strategy – as I like to call it.

Surprisingly, that goal came at least one year quicker than what I had planned. 2025 reminded me to trust the timing, stay aligned with my values, and remain open to the unexpected.

Ah, but then again, this life is slightly different from what I had planned all along. So LOL at me, haha. Needless to say, I am very grateful for my life. All thanks to the man above.

With all of that said, I am stepping into 2026 with a full heart and a clear vision for what I want to create. In other words, the hiatus is over. A fresh start has begun.

And perhaps the most exciting part this year marks the preparation for The So Her Edit, the next evolution of my brand. While Mrs Profresh will always be home, I’m slowly building the foundation for what comes next – something a little more chic, a little more refined, and a lot more in tune with my current season of life. I can’t wait to share more as the year unfolds.
