Hope you’re having a beautiful day! Today, on mrsprofresh.com, I am sharing a delicious smoked gouda burger recipe. It’s easy to make and perfect for your summer shenanigans.
Total Cook Time: ~25 min
Below is what you’ll need:
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1/2 cup of green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup of smoked gouda, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- Grill extra jalapeños slices on the side to add more at the end!
- ~2 lbs of ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Condiments of your choice
On a small pan, over low heat, add the olive oil and grill the garlic, green onions, and jalapeño. Grill for about two minutes and set aside until the veggies cool off.
In a large bowl, add the ground beef, grilled veggies, smoked gouda, salt, and pepper. Mix all of the ingredients until well blended.
Form the burger patties.
Grill and cook the patties to taste.
Prep the buns by toasting them, or skip to #6 to build your burger!
Build your burger to taste! Here is what I like on my burger: mustard, grilled jalapeños, avocado slices, and spinach.
I highly recommend to pair this burger recipe with baked potato wedges. They’re incredibly easy to make and quite delicious! I’ll link the recipe here. Should you decide to try the baked potato wedges, be sure to chop all of the ingredients first, including preparing the potato wedges. This way, you’ll have the potato wedges baking while the patties are being prepared and cooked.
