Today, on mrsprofresh.com, I am sharing a yummy and EASY lemon garlic pasta. This recipe will pair perfectly with shrimp, fish, or chicken, as your protein. Or keep it as a vegetarian option and pair it with a fresh green salad.
Here is what you’ll need:
8 servings | Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- 14 cups of water
- 1 lb of linguine pasta
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 garlic, minced
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, to taste
Here is what you’ll do:
Bring water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add salt, one garlic clove, and the pasta. Boil for about 10 to 12 minutes until the pasta is just al dente, or firm to the bite. Do not overcook.
Next, drain the pasta using a colander and return it to the pot.
Lastly, add fresh squeezed lemon juice, minced garlic, and butter. Mix all the ingredients and serve warm with a side salad and/or protein.
