Today is officially the first day of fall – which also means it’s the anniversary of mrsprofresh.com. When I first launched the blog under missprofresh.com in 2016, my very first blog post was a pumpkin spice latte recipe. Surprise, surprise – haha. Anyway, if you know me, you know I love a delish #psl on any given day from late August to November. Since my old website is long gone (and lost), I thought today was the perfect day to “resurface” my first blog post from four years ago – A Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe.
Below is what you’ll need for one serving:
- 3 tablespoons of organic pumpkin purée
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup of your choice of milk (I used 2% organic Central Market milk)
- Pumpkin pie spice, to taste
- Fresh coffee

How to make your Pumpkin Spice Latte:
Step 1
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add the pumpkin purée and brown sugar. Whisk until fragrant and darkens. (Don’t let it burn.)
Step 2
Add the pure vanilla extract, milk, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Mix the ingredients until well blended.
Step 3
Once the pumpkin mixture is well blended and heated, add it to the blender, and blend for a few seconds. If you have a milk frother, even better, use that instead.
Step 4
Get your cup of coffee ready by pouring equal parts of coffee and pumpkin mixture.
Step 5
Last but not least, top it off with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, perhaps some whipped cream, and voila! Enjoy! Super easy 😉
In honor of cooler days ahead, and mrsprofresh’s anni, head over to IG stories for a giveaway! #psl lovers, or coffee lovers in general, you don’t want to miss this.
