What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is an annual event that takes place in July/August timeframe. It is THE perfect opportunity to snag amazing deals! You can score deals on everything from clothing to shoes and home to beauty products.
For many fashionistas, it is the ideal time to refresh the wardrobe and prepare for the fall/winter season ahead. I think it’s also important to note that unlike typical sales where older merchandise is discounted, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (aka the Nordy sale) offers brand new arrivals at discounted prices.
Not to mention, a lot of top-selling products that are popular for a reason tend to go on sale as if it was Black Friday.
When is the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Everyone can shop the sale on Monday, July 17 so be sure to mark your calendar! However, if you have the Nordstrom credit card, you will have early access to the sale.
If you are a cardmember, below is a quick view of when you’ll be able to shop the sale based on your cardmember status (aka how much money you spend at Nordstrom).
If you don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, you can easily apply for one here. As soon as you’re approved, you’ll be qualified as an “Influencer”, which means you’ll be able to shop as early as Thursday, July 13!
2023 Nordstrom Anniversary SALE
I kid you not when I say that I combed through the entire sale to look for my top favorites. I looked through all the women’s clothing, shoes, activewear, makeup, skincare, fragrances, beauty devices, and home stuff. As always, I only recommend things that I currently own (or have owned), have positive reviews, or would purchase myself.
This year, I categorized top picks as you’ll see below.
Without further ado, below are my top picks for this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Enjoy!
CLOTHING
SWEATERS – $50 & UNDER
I seriously cannot wait to shop some of these fall favorites! I already told Jose that all I want for my wedding anniversary this year is to refresh my wardrobe, haha. So you can bet I’ll be sharing some of my top favorites on Instagram once I have them in my little hands.
SWEATERS – $100 & UNDER
For the sweaters that fall under $100, I definitely plan to purchase this one and this one. Absolutely love those two picks! I think they would look great with plaid skirts, jeans, or a pencil skirt.
Also, it’s worth nothing that one of the Barefoot Dreams cardigan is going to be on sale for $99! The regular price is $145 – huge savings there. I’ll go ahead and link it here.
SWEATERS – ABOVE $100
There were not many sweaters that caught my attention that were above $100. However, for the four sweaters that did, they’re linked below.
One of the most popular ones is, of course, by Barefoot Dreams, I’ll link it here. This Barefoot Dreams cardigan is usually $168, BUT it’ll be on sale for $113! It makes a great birthday, or Christmas, gift too.
BLAZERS & JACKETS
I found a few favorite blazers! I just have to make up my mind which one I’ll be purchasing this year. So many good finds.
Plus, check out the adorable jackets like this bomber jacket!
Also, wanna know what’s going to be in moving forward?!? VESTS. Yep, you read that right. Vests are making a comeback and I’m here for it 😉 I made sure to include two long vests in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Option one is linked here and option two is linked here.
DRESSES
Not very many dresses that jumped out at me this year, but the ones that did are linked below.
SKIRTS
Below linked are my top 9 skirt picks – SO MANY GOOD ONES TO CHOOSE FROM! Plaid is always in for the fall season. And this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I have my eyes on pleather mini skirts.
(Some of these picks are as low as $30! All picks are under $100.)
WORKWEAR SKIRTS
I am quite impressed by this year’s collection of workwear skirts. There’s a good variety to choose from. Perfect picks for the corporate profreshional, senior college student, teacher, you get the idea.
I have my eyes on this brown suede pencil skirt. It’s on sale for $52 (regular price is $80)!
ACTIVEWEAR
I am in the middle of revamping my activewear soooo this one going to be tough for me. There are SO many good finds to choose from this year. I have my eyes on this white skirt, this matching nike sweater and leggings, this adorable exercise dress, and this runsie.
Also, if you have never bought a pair of Spanx leggings, this is the perfect time to buy them. The sale price of $65 unbeatable! The only other time they’re on sale for $65 is during Black Friday. (Regular price is $98!)
WINTER COATS
Whether you’re looking for a plaid, bold, or classic coat, this fall/winter season, I’ve got you covered with a wide variety of beauties. In case you haven’t noticed, the color green is very much in. This beauty makes a great winter coat if you’re wanting to make a fashion statement this season.
It also comes in cream and camel color. And best part?!? It is. on sale for $140 versus $248! AMAZING DEAL.
If you’re in the market for a Barbie pink coat, check out this option and this option. Both are on sale for $150 compared to the regular price of $240. If pink isn’t your color, no worries because. they have other options too.
Quick observation – I have a lovely dusty pink coat that I purchased during the Nordy sale many years ago. Anyway, if you love a dusty pink/mauve color, check out this coat. The sale price is $250 versus $395.
2023 Nordstrom Anniversary SALE – SHOES
HEELS & SANDALS
I have so many favorite heels and sandals this year. In fact, one particular brand that stood to me is Cult Gaia. Their heels are incredibly beautiful and unique. I plan to purchase this pair of heels and this one too.
BOOTS & BOOTIES
For boots and booties, I only linked my favorite ones. If I had to pick one, I would pick this one.
Also, if you’re looking a bone color pair of booties, I highly recommend this pair. I bought them a couple of years ago, and still love them.
MULES & LOAFERS
Below are all my favorite mules and loafers that were included in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
SNEAKERS & ATHLETIC
Okay – if I am real, I have so many favorites that are on my hit list. For example, these metallic shoes. They are SO CHIC. I think they would look great with almost anything.
These white Adidas are also on my list. I need a good pair of running shoes that are easy to put on and remove. Plus – they’re on freakin’ sale for $65!!! SO GOOD.
I would also love a pair of the Cloud sneakers. The reviews alone made me want them. Not to mention the sale price of $113, it’s a steal!

ACCESSORIES
Ugh – if only I could purchase each accessory that’s linked below. They’re all so cute and would make great gifts to yourself, or a girlfriend.
BEAUTY & HAIR
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to try new and expensive beauty and hair products!
BEAUTY DEVICES
If you have been thinking about trying out that expensive beauty gadget, stop thinking and start shopping. This is a great time to shop for expensive beauty gadgets!
For example, the famous Dyson Airwrap is going to be on sale for $600 and its valued at $660.
Also, if you are curious about LED light therapy, this is the perfect time to purchase LED light therapy devices. Here’s one option that’s for wrinkles and this second option targets acne.
FRAGRANCES
Listen – Christmas will be here before we know it. If you can get ahead of Christmas shopping, the time is now. Below are some of my favorite fragrances that would make great gifts. Not only for Christmas, but also for birthday’s.
HOME
This is the first time I am covering the home section. The reason is because as soon as I saw our favorite candle as part of the sale, I knew I had to share it with you. Hands down – this is the best candle ever. Every time we light it, the entire home smells like it, and we love it! It’s the signature smell of the #sojohome.
