Two recent (and yummy) iced coffee discoveries were made within weeks of each other!
*heart eyes emoji*
One is super effortless to make and the second takes a little longer to enjoy. (It’s definitely delayed gratification, my caffeine lover.)
Let’s talk about the first one –
A while back, I wasn’t having any sugar with my coffee so I turned to my Instagram friends and asked what type of cold brew coffee would they suggest. (I tend to like cold brew without any milk/sugar so that’s why I turned to cold brew during this tiny phase.)
Chameleon cold brew coffee turned out to be a favorite for most.
I found it at my local grocery store the other day and decided it was time to try it.
AND HOLY SMOKES – I was on a rush.
How I Prep Mine
In a clean glass, I add ice, and pour the cold brew. Next, I add a dash of vanilla oat milk creamer (because let’s be real…sugar-free days do not exist during this quarantine) and top it with ground cinnamon. It is a delight.
If you are sensitive to caffeine, and don’t drink it as often, I would proceed with caution. I know people who get anxiety from drinking strong coffee sooooo yeah…maybe try a sip, half, or whatever you think is needed to find out how it will affect you.
Let’s move on to the second option –
This is definitely a smoother option.
I tried Blue Island’s iced coffee pouches a while back and haven’t looked back ever since. Well, except when I spotted that Chameleon coffee by the yogurt section at the grocery store, lol!
On a real note – the process to make Blue Island’s cold brew takes some time but so worth it!
How I Prep Mine
I fill up a glass with cold water and place the pouch inside of it. In order to keep the pouch pushed down (since it rises), I cover the top of the glass with cling plastic wrap.
