Happy, happy Monday! Hope you had a lovely weekend. Today, on mrsprofresh.com, I am sharing a little life update because I haven’t shared one in a very long time. (Every once in a while, I like to drop a quick life update to share the raw/unedited things happening in my life. I’ll link the last life update here.)
Well, what can I say?!? So much has changed since the last time I shared a life update, which was last year in July. Needless to say, I feel incredibly blessed to be alive and well through this pandemic. Not to mention, the family is doing well, work is great, blog life is happening, and I am doing what I love pretty much every single day. Bless.
One of my goals for this year was to work with a nutritionist to see if there was anything I could do to optimize my wellbeing. And you know what? Thank goodness for her because we were able to identify areas for improvement like my gut health and increasing my vitamin D levels. (Btw – vitamin D levels were SO low, super important for the immune system.) Having said that, if you are even slightly curious about the benefits of working with a nutritionist, I highly encourage you to do research in your area to see if it’s something you would like to learn more about. The nutritionist I was working with studied my blood work and identified those areas for improvement, which is something a doctor (or OBGYN) has never done for me.
Another goal I had this year was to post blog posts regularly. So far, so good. I’ve been posting three times per week, which is something I am very proud of! At times it gets hard managing a blog while at the same time prioritizing my day job. However, it is not impossible so don’t let that discourage you from pursuing something you truly love and enjoy. I am a strong supporter of hustles because you never know what could be born from that 😉 With hard work, determination, and willpower, it is possible.

As we begin to wrap up May, which is freaking insane how fast this month flew by, I am beginning to fantasize about the summer trips we hope to take. As of right now, we are visiting Zion National Park. We leave on Friday and plan to spend the day at the park on Saturday. As you can imagine, I AM SO FREAKIN’ EXCITED because I have ALWAYS wanted to go on a day hike at a place like Zion National Park. V excited to share the itinerary details.
Aside from focusing on my personal and health goals, I am very much focused on finishing big home projects this summer. If you watch my IG stories, you probably know my project manager (aka Jose) finally approved my customized closet. We should begin design this week, probably debate for a few days, and then schedule our contractor to do the work. I’ll share more about the design as that begins to happen. 😉
Last, but not least, you heard it here first…I officially have baby fever and it’s the kind that isn’t going away. It’s not a phase, this is the real deal. Pray for us…
