It’s here! It’s finally here! The festivities have officially kicked off beginning with the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que contest, and us Houstonians, are ready for it! Although we aren’t going to the cookoff this year, we do plan on going to the first concert.
I am OVER THE MOON excited to share the outfit I plan to wear! It’s from a favorite boutique of mine located in my hometown – and guess what?!? They finally have a website – woot, woot! This is amazing news, especially for my girls outside of the Bryan/College Station (b/cs) area!
If you ever find yourself in the b/cs area, please, do yourself a favor and go to Merge for your retail therapy session. The Texas A&M campus, Northgate District, and Downtown Bryan are all great places to visit, but Merge, is a real sweet spot for the stylish gal! It is the cutest store ever – and I can certainly vouch for that! I still remember shopping at their previous location (now located in a prime location) for adorable outfits I couldn’t find elsewhere. Also, if you have a baby, your bank account may be in danger. They have the most stylish baby clothes for girls.
Onto my favorite part – outfit details. When I first saw the dress hanging on the rack, I knew it was the one. I still went ahead and tried on a few things just to be sure. I liked all the things but I loved the dress the most! I thought it would go perfect with boots (if I decide to wear them) or with chunky heels during warmer temperatures. The length is perfect, hangs nicely off the shoulders, and super comfy.
Also, who doesn’t love the cape-like detail?!? I think that’s what attracted me to the dress in the first place! I will share the dress on my IG stories to give you a closer look this Saturday. I’ll have to decide what shoes to wear – boots or a nice pair of chunky heels? We’ll have to wait and see…
