This week, on the blog, I am sharing a lemon print two-piece swimsuit.

I am always looking forward to my birthday month – May. Even though it is often overshadowed by graduations, weddings, and other celebrations, I seek joy when it comes to my day!

Little did I know, I would marry someone who would be born just ten days before me. Now it’s double the celebration and cupcakes!

This year, we booked a weekend trip for his birthday to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. It was well spent – too much that I forgot to apply sunscreen on our last full day – haha.

Anyway, I ended up purchasing the most adorable lemon print two-piece swimsuit for the trip. It was by one of my favorite nicer brands – Gianni Bini.

I do not recall the last time I purchased a bathing suit that was over $50! If I had to take a wild guess, it would have been during my high school days whenever my parents still bought my clothing, haha. But ever since I’ve been on my own, I stick to Target and other affordable retailers. You feel me?

But don’t get me wrong, every once in a while, I justify the reason to splurge. In this case, the justification was my birthday month!

Before I bought the swimsuit, I first pictured the ideal style and print. Yep, I specifically wanted a lemon print swimsuit. And lucky for me, I found the perfect baby.

Love off-the-shoulder style. Both the top and bottom feel comfy. Like I don’t mind being swept away by the waves. Pretty confident everything will remain in tact and don’t have to worry about flashing strangers. The struggle can be real.
