I had no idea what a champagne birthday meant until earlier this year. In case you have no clue what this means, it is turning the age of your birth date. For example, I just turned 29 on the 29th of May. This, of course, meant champagne (and a pretty party dress) was in order to help celebrate the last year in my 20s.
I am so excited to share today’s picks with you! It is a shift dress created and designed for the lady who loves and appreciates comfort.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter yesterday! We spent the weekend with our families in our hometown so you can bet it was nice spending quality time with them. Jose and I are blessed to have both of our families in the same town so we try our best to squeeze in the majority. It is not always easy but it sure is worth it.
I’ve been looking forward to sharing this adorable chambray tiered dress. It appears similar to denim but it is light weight compared to some denim. I love the relaxed upper section with the fitted midriff and playful bottom section. The dropped waist helps elongate the body, which is nice if you style with your favorite heels to add a few inches in height. The 3/4 sleeves are perfect for the upcoming warmer temperatures. Ideal option for date night, church, work, or a casual weekend. I don’t see why I wouldn’t wear this dress with my white converse for a laid-back look.
Everything about this little number is stunning! I scooped it up way in advance so that I could wear it on NYE. I love the long sleeves, lining, length, neckline, design, colors, need I say more?!? It is comfortable and ideal for an elegant celebration. I am so excited to rock it again at my sister’s bachelorette party! As with anything sequin, be patient and gentle when removing the dress. If there is anything that frustrates me most is when my hair gets tangled in sequins and suddenly become desperate for a quick solution.
