Saturday’s OOTD: A Dress That’s Perfect For Fall

A Dress Perfect for Fall

Happy, happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent mine celebrating my beautiful cousin who’s a bride-to-be. We hung out at a local spa in College Station, TX, which was a much needed day with my girls! I’ll have to share the deets about the spa on a different blog post. Anyway – today, on the blog, I am sharing a dress that’s perfect for fall. I wore it this past weekend to breakfast and figured to share the look since it’s perfect for the season!

I have the dress in two styles/colors – pink/rose and black floral print. As mentioned above, I wore the pink one this past weekend, and if you watch my IG stories, I wore the black one to work last week. (I linked it on Shop my Instagram page as well.) Although they’re the “same” dress, they’re still so different. Let me explain…

More Details:

The content of the fabric is slightly different causing the dresses to look and feel totally different. (If you see both of them in person, you’ll notice this right away.) The pink dress is made of 98% polyester and 2% spandex, the black floral dress is made of 100% polyester. (It’s crazy how a slight difference can cause a lot of change!) Other than that, everything else is the same. They fit true to size, I would describe the length as “midi” – definitely not a maxi. It’s hard to say what my favorite thing is because I honestly love everything! The smocked neck, the sleeves, length, and color/pattern. (I have to mention, it also comes in a black and white plaid pattern – but I am not really a fan of it. This doesn’t mean someone else won’t love it though 😉 )

Black Floral Print Dress | Black Booties

I styled the pink one with nude heels and a black headband. However, you could style this one with white (or black) booties, or black heels. It truly depends on the style you’re shooting for. This dress is SO versatile, you can easily dress it up, or down. I would consider wearing it to a wedding, brunch with the girls, church, a fancy dinner, I mean…the possibilities are endless. It’s all about how you decide to style it. Dress it up with a dainty gold necklace, a nice hair updo, and your favorite heels – and voila! You’re ready for a rehearsal dinner. Or play it cool by wearing nude heels, styling your hair with pretty beach waves, and you’re ready for brunch with the girls.

For sizing reference, I purchased the extra small.

Final Thoughts:

Well, that’s a wrap for today! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate in reaching out! 😉

Hope you have an awesome week! I’m beyond excited because my little sister gets married this weekend!!! The day is finally happening!!! I cannot believe it…

Ps. HUGE shout out to those who have read my Alaska Travel Guide – I cannot thank you enough for your feedback, comments, and support. The northern lights were definitely a highlight of 2020 – despite everything happening in the world, there is ALWAYS GOODNESS to turn to. Always remember that.
