Parke Blazer | Candy Stripe Shirt

If there is a common theme around Profresh Friday Picks, I would say it is wardrobe essentials. Most of the picks are versatile, timeless, classic, and durable. I found these two items on a trip to Nordstrom. I was actually trying to find a birthday dress but somehow ended up with these two in my hand.

Parke Blazer – If there is one piece of advice I am going to give regarding blazers is, you must own at least one if you are: a college student, work in an office setting, in the process of interviewing, or an entrepreneur. Durable and quality blazers can be pricey, but trust me when I say this, once you save enough money to buy one, you will never go back to cheap blazers. We all start somewhere though…if I am totally transparent, my first few blazers were from Forever21 and Agaci. There is nothing wrong with beginning there, stick to what you can afford. Just remember, if you fall into any of the categories mentioned above, a blazer is a wardrobe essential. Not only will you look like you are going to conquer the day, I strongly believe it will also make you feel more confident.

Moving onto the details of this classic navy blazer. The fit is perfect! For your reference, I am wearing a size 2. The length of the sleeves and torso is perfect. Style it with jeans on casual Friday or with white dress pants/skirt as summer approaches. This is also a great piece to wear to church on Sunday.

Candy Stripe Shirt – What a fun shirt to wear to work or on the weekend, right?!? I love the rainbow stripes and it is super comfortable. For your reference, I am wearing an extra small.
